It's 2020 so, of course, the first Newsletter of the year had to be vision themed!


With the arrival of a new decade, we surely have our focus aimed at creating new and improved ways for YOU - to better comprehend and utilize your LPA holiday product. It's essential for us, that you fully understand how your holiday product works.

In this edition, we will go back to basics and look at all of the different puzzles that form part of the LPA picture. We will conclude this newsletter with a short survey, in which we would love to hear from you!

Knowledge is power – and for you to fully utilise your Portfolio and to make it work for you – it is imperative to have an in-depth understanding of all the different segments that form part of LPA’s holiday product.

A little birdie told us...
...that you have been informed about LPA’s exciting new offer!
With this new offer, LPA wants you to be able to secure your holiday further in advance to give you more options when it comes to Depositing and Booking a holiday.

As of the 18th of February 2020, LPA will let you Deposit your week to LPA Options after paying only 25% of your Portfolio Fee, instead of waiting until you have paid the full amount before occupation.

So how does this new offer work?

Originally you were only able to start transacting with your LPA Home Resort week (meaning to Deposit your week to be allocated Tokens to the value of your week, and Exchange it for an alternative week), three months prior to occupation. See the illustration below for a breakdown:


With this new offer, you can transact with your LPA Home Resort week twelve months before occupation. See the illustration below for a breakdown:


There is only one simple step to follow to claim this incredible offer:

1. Pay 25% of your current year’s Portfolio Fee

Once you have paid 25% of your current year’s Portfolio Fee, you can start transacting with your LPA Home Resort week. If you are not going to occupy your week, you can deposit it and receive Tokens to the value of your holiday. You can use these Tokens to book an alternative holiday at another Resort for a later date.

-The Walk-ins Department will be closed from Wednesday, 16 December 2020 to Sunday, 03 January 2021.
- The Call Centre Department will also be closed from Wednesday, 16 December 2020 to Sunday, 03 January 2021.
- Finally, please note that our offices will officially be closed from Saturday, 19 December 2020. We will return for business as usual on Monday, 04 January 2021.
 
 
MEMBER VERIFICATION
 
Please note, for your protection, strict security protocols are followed when dealing with queries in regards to your portfolio. For member verification purposes, please ensure you have your ID number, postal address, e-mail address and cell number on hand when calling in. Should you wish to provide access to your portfolio to a third party, or allow a third party to transact on your behalf, they will require a full Power of Attorney in order to do so.

DON’T FORGET
 
Portfolio Fees must be paid at least three months prior to the occupation date. Pack your printed confirmation letter before you leave home.
 
2020 EXCHANGE FEE
 
When making an exchange reservation online through the LPA dashboard or when making an exchange reservation through the LPA Call Centre, the 2020 Exchange Fee is R 994.00. Please note that it is subject to change annually.
