Dear LPA Member,
At the end of another challenging year, the first thing we would like to do is thank our amazing LPA members for your ongoing support. We might not have seen the end of this pandemic yet, but through this extraordinary season the LPA members have stood fast, have maintained their accounts and – most importantly of all – have continued to enjoy wonderful holidays at our excellent resorts; weathering this storm while continuing to provide much-needed breakaways for yourselves and your loved-ones! We value and appreciate each and every one of you.

In this newsletter we are unpacking the answers to some of the top questions members have, as highlighted in our survey shared earlier this year; and chatting about the reduced 2022 exchange fee and our ever-popular ExtraOrdinary Escapes pricing for the upcoming year. Top questions and the answers:
1. My Tokens: What are they?
You can exchange your Home Resort week on the LPA Options platform for Tokens. Tokens are the exchange ‘currency’ you will receive in return. You can use these Tokens on the LPA Options booking platform to book another holiday at any other available resort and date.
2. My Tokens: What are they worth?
Tokens are valid for three years.

3. My Tokens: What is their validity?
You can exchange your Home Resort week on the LPA Options platform for Tokens. Tokens are the exchange ‘currency’ you will receive in return. You can use these Tokens on the LPA Options booking platform to book another holiday at any other available resort and date.

4. My Agreement: How to Renew or Swap my Agreement?
LPA offers tailor-made Renewal options or Swap options for you to choose from.

5. Your Home Resort Week: What are my options if I can't occupy my Home Resort Week in any given year?
You can either bank your week on LPA Options in exchange for tokens to use on a later stage, or you can place your week up for rental on www.gomelo.co.za
6. My Portfolio: Where can I go?
With your LPA portfolio you have a guaranteed annual holiday at your Home Resort. You can also use any exiting Tokens on your portfolio to book another holiday from the LPA Options booking platform. The LPA Options pool of availability allows for a wider variety of local resorts to choose from, throughout the year; from Gauteng and the North West province, all the way to the Western Cape. Your LPA membership includes membership to RCI and 7Across, which provide for a multitude of international destinations.

Exchange Fee Price Drop
We know that every little bit helps and so we're doing our little bit to help a bit!
We are excited to share that the Exchange Fee for 2022 has been reduced to the 2020 price, and is now R995 again!

When making an exchange reservation online through the LPA dashboard, or when making an exchange reservation through the LPA Call Centre, the 2022 Exchange Fee is R995.
Bank or Transact Earlier
Did you know? You do not have to have paid your portfolio fee in full, nor do you have to wait until just 8 weeks prior to the occupation date, in order to bank your week in exchange for Tokens.
Members can now transact and bank their Home Weeks once a minimum of 25% of the portfolio fee has been paid! This means members can transact and secure holidays further in advance, which means more transaction options AND more availability to choose from.

Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge: This is my 6th time coming to the Lodge and it continues to take my breath away, when I drive through from the gate to Reception to my allocated Unit. If you love tranquillity and the sound of nature, this is the place to add to your bucket list. I love it!We spent last week at Ngwenya, and wanted to say a big THANK YOU to your consultant! We were so impressed with her friendliness and willingness to help us find a place to stay. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about what would suite our needs. She really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy!

Sudwala Lodge: Beautiful setting! Friendly and helpful staff! Lovely Chalets! The Gardens and Pools are immaculate. A really relaxing and fabulous Resort for a holiday. Thanks to all!

Baywater Village: We had an awesome time at Baywater Village. The staff were amazingly friendly and went out of their way to assist us where possible, I was impressed. The Units are spotless. There is a lot of activities for kids. This really is an awesome family Resort. We had a 5-star experience. Thank you Baywater Village, it was worth the 5-hour drive.
Members Lounge
Our Member Services Departments, including Call Centre and Reservations, will be closed from Wednesday, 22 December 2021 to Tuesday, 04 January 2022.
We will reopen for business as usual on Wednesday, 5 January 2022
Please note, for your protection, strict security protocols are followed when dealing with queries in regards to your portfolio. For member verification purposes, please ensure you have your ID number, postal address, e-mail address and cell number on hand when calling in. Should you wish to provide access to your portfolio to a third party, or allow a third party to transact on your behalf, they will require a full Power of Attorney in order to do so.

Portfolio Fees must be paid at least three months prior to the occupation date of your Home Resort week. Be sure to print and pack your confirmation letter before you leave home to go on your holiday. You will be required to provide the confirmation letter upon arrival at the Resort.
